Janusz Raglewski

Of counsel at Głuchowski Siemiątkowski Zwara i Partnerzy, Professor Raglewski has been associated with our law firm since 2010.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University and dr hab. of legal sciences, specialising in criminal law, Janusz completed his judicial apprenticeship at the Voivodeship Court in Cracow and passed the judicial examination.
He is an associate professor at the Jagiellonian University in (Department of Criminal Law).
He is a member of Cracow Bar Association and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Cracow Bar Association, as well as member of the Legislation Committee of the Supreme Bar and the Bioethics Committee at the Regional Medical Chamber in Cracow. Janusz is also the arbitrator of the Arbitration Tribunal for Sports at the Polish Olympic Committee and Editor-in-chief of the “Czasopismo Prawa Karnego i Nauk Penalnych” published by Polska Akademia Umiejetnosci in Cracow.
The competencies of Professor Raglewski include all aspects of criminal law, but he specifically specialises in criminal aspects of protection of commercial trading (especially managerial crimes), fiscal crimes and misdemeanours and criminal liability for breaching the provisions of intellectual property law.
Janusz authored and co-authored a few dozens of scientific publications, including monographs, commentaries (criminal code, criminal fiscal code, code of commercial companies, copyright and similar laws, intellectual property law and unfair competition act), as well as articles and glosses.
Janusz speaks English and Russian.
