Mateusz is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the same university (majoring in political science), obtaining both degrees with distinction. Currently, Mateusz is working on his PhD thesis.
Mateusz has been with Głuchowski Siemiątkowski Zwara i Partnerzy since 2015, having previously worked at the Ministry of Environment. Mateusz’s areas of specialty include inter alia: constitutional law, environmental protection law, as well as issues related to public administration, political parties and whistleblowing.
He is also a founder and chairman of the Foundation Międzynarodowy Instytut Społeczeństwa Obywatelskiego [International Institute for Civic Society] and a member of the board of Polish-Iranian Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Council of the Foundation for Bank Ochrony Srodowiska and Scientific Council of the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas in Katowice.
He participated in a majority of foreign programmes, internships, etc. in the USA, Mexico, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, Indonesia, Azerbaijan and the Gambia.
Mateusz speaks English and Russian.
