A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Gdansk, Robert also has a degree in management at the Faculty of Administration at the Maritime Academy in Gdynia and holds a post-graduate diploma in Economics and commercial law of Warsaw School of Economics. He completed his judicial apprenticeship at the Court of Appeal in Gdansk.
He is a member of the Gdansk Bar Association.
Robert has been with the Głuchowski Siemiątkowski Zwara i Partnerzy team since 2011. He largely deals with cases regarding corporate advisory, court and arbitration proceedings, administrative proceedings and criminal law.
His experience comes from being a Judge of the Commercial Court in Gdynia (District Court) first, the deputy Chairman of the Court and later, the Chairman. He was responsible – inter alia – for international proceedings (commenced or proceeded by or against the foreign party). He largely dealt with cases concerning international trade and sale of goods, as well as disputes relating to shipment of goods contracts. Robert has extensive experience in cases involving financial institutions – in particular insurance companies and banks.
Robert is also a founder of the Stowarzyszenia na Rzecz Pomocy Dzieciom z Chorobą Nowotworową „Pomóż Dziecku Wyzdrowieć” (Help for Children with Cancer Association „Help a Kid Get Well”).
Robert is fluent in English.
